The printed left lapel comes from a 1960s Irish linen tea towel—brought from a trip to Scotland back to the U.S., and eventually salvaged from an antique store in Upstate New York. The embroidered panels are cut from a beautifully worked cotton flat sheet, decorated with whimsical Mother Goose–style childhood motifs. Finally, the shirt is finished with remnants of a linen-blend antique tablecloth featuring lace cutout accents.

One of our personal favorites—this camp shirt is made from a vintage, beautifully printed 100% cotton tablecloth originating in Isfahan, Iran. The original manufacturer’s stamp remains intact inside the shirt, preserving a piece of its textile history. It’s accented with raw, nubby peace silk, a rare fabric made from the leftover cocoons of silkworms that have hatched into butterflies. This peace silk has been naturally dyed using the deep red mud of China’s Yangtze River, where the fabric was ethically produced.
