This camp shirt is made from a mix of three distinct textiles. The printed left lapel comes from a 1960s Irish linen tea towel—brought from a trip to Scotland back to the U.S., and eventually salvaged from an antique store in Upstate New York. The embroidered panels are cut from a beautifully worked cotton flat sheet, decorated with whimsical Mother Goose–style childhood motifs. Finally, the shirt is finished with remnants of a linen-blend antique tablecloth featuring lace cutout accents.

Fit: Boxy and slightly cropped, fits like a true men’s L.

Each of the shirts in this collection is named for a historic hub of the American textile industry. With this, we honor and sustain the legacy of our rich fabric and clothing traditions.

Perched on the banks of the mighty Mississippi, Winona MN became a trading hub and production center for everything from flour to lumber to canvas. Powered by hydropower, its riverfront factories supplied everything from grain sacks to later a beloved knitting mill, Winona Knitting Mills, which operated from 1943 to 2000.
