Amoskeag Cropped Camp Shirt (XL)

Sale Price: $90.00 Original Price: $150.00

Made with love from antique and modern materials. The front panels feature handwoven linen jacquard tablecloth (19th century), while the sleeves and collar are cut from colorful Shweshwe remnants—South Africa’s iconic block-printed fabric. Printed by hand in 5-meter runs, any small error sends the fabric to scrap; this shirt repurposes the still-usable beauty.

Fit: 23” across the chest, 22” from shoulder to hem. Designed with a boxy, slightly cropped silhouette that wears like a classic men’s XL.

Each of the shirts in this collection is named for a historic hub of the American textile industry. With this, we honor and sustain the legacy of our rich fabric and clothing traditions.

At one time the largest textile mill in the world, Amoskeag Manufacturing company in Manchester, New Hampshire has long stood as a symbol of American textile manufacturing ambition and success. They once produced everything from ggingham prints to military uniforms, building a model industrial city of its red-bricked empire.
